AOPA Concern #8: Feedlot Slope
Minimum slope requirement removed
Feedlot Slope is design requirement which ensures adequate drainage for feedlots to quickly drain water from pen areas when it rains. The 2006 amendments have removed the 2% minimum slope to a discretionary provision of "positive slope". Dry pen areas are important for livestock health.
